Why we do this
The energy industry has operated the same way for over a century. Centralized generation, extensive distribution networks, and consumers who have no choice but to accept whatever rates and terms are offered.
That structure made sense when it was built. But technology has evolved. Solar panels have become affordable. Battery storage has matured. Smart systems can optimize consumption in ways that were impossible just a decade ago.
Yet most people still interact with energy the same way their grandparents did—flip a switch, receive a bill, and hope it's not too high this month.
We saw that gap and decided to close it. Not through grand promises or complex schemes, but through straightforward deployment of proven technology.
